Flu Vaccines - 2024/25

Flu vaccinations for pregnant women, and all children’s flu cohorts, will commence from 1 SEPTEMBER.

The main flu and COVID campaign will commence on TUESDAY 3 OCTOBER.

The flu vaccine’s effectiveness can wane over time in adults and so we have been advised by the NHS to start later than usual. The advice differs for children, because flu circulates in this age group earlier and protection lasts longer.

The practice will send out appointment invitations to eligible groups in due course. COVID vaccination invites will be sent out by the NHS vaccination team.

In the meantime if you are 75 - 79 or 28+ weeks pregnant please contact us on 0207 487 5244 to book your RSV vaccination appointment.
